Founded in 2022 by Oksana Zhmud, Vira Be celebrates beauty and women from all cultures: strong, beautiful, and powerful.

Born in Ukraine, Oksana moved to the United States at age 20, determined to follow her dreams of designing and running her own swimwear collection.

In 2021, during the pandemic, Zhmud decided to strike out on her own to make her dream a reality. The concept was simple; create a line of swimwear that is not only stunning but also incredibly well designed with functionality and enhancements for the consumer. She selected the finest fabrics, now a staple of the Vira Be brand, and produced all suits in the United States. Daring and classic silhouettes pervade the collection with a powerful color palette.
